God’s Helping Hands

St. John’s collects food the First Sunday each month. St. John’s members bring in food for God’s Helping Hands Food Pantry. We also collect clothes for the clothing room at Groometown United Methodist Church, which is part of the Pantry.

The Pantry is open each Friday from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. to hand out bags of groceries.  Visitors can get a hot meal at that time. God’s Helping Hands operates entirely through the faith and dedication of volunteers.

Matthew 25:40, And the Lord said, For as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
